The China Foods Alliance®, also known as „Pin“, promotes and preserves authentic Chinese culinary traditions, strengthens cooperation between Chinese restaurants and local companies, improves the quality and visibility of Chinese cuisine and promotes cultural exchange between China and Switzerland.
The exclusive trips are specially designed for professionals from the catering, hotel and education sectors as well as SME owners and entrepreneurs who want to experience China from a new, enjoyable perspective. The trips take place on fixed dates and are exclusively organised with a focus on quality, exchange and practical insights into culture, crafts and cuisine.
In a festive ceremony at the Yantai Vocational College of Culture and Tourism (YVCCT) in October 2025, a significant step was taken in culinary education cooperation between China and Switzerland. Representatives of the China Foods Alliance (Switzerland), the Centre of Innovative & Entrepreneurial Culinary Arts + Services (CieCAS) in Shanghai and the YVCCT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
