The restaurant was adorned with traditional Chinese decorations that exuded a lively holiday atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous Chinese feast that had been carefully prepared by the organisers. In addition to the delicious food, attendees were treated to an impressive Qigong demonstration that showcased the elegance of Chinese culture. The karaoke session was another highlight of the day, with participants eagerly taking to the stage to show off their singing talents. 

The raffle added to the excitement of the celebration. The event was sponsored by Mr Oskar, Mr Matt, China Foods Alliance® and Mrs Suping and there were a variety of exquisite prizes to be won. The lucky winners received their gifts to cheers and applause, adding more joy and surprises to the celebrations. Chinese New Year is a time of reunion and exchange. With this event, the SCCA not only provided participants with delicious food and joyful moments, but also created a platform for Chinese living in Switzerland to strengthen their ties and share their culture. The organisers expressed the hope that there will be more opportunities to gather and celebrate together in the future.

With lively interactions and warm New Year wishes, the lunch ended on a cheerful note. Participants remarked that the event not only allowed them to savour the familiar flavours of their homeland, but also to deeply experience the charm of Chinese traditions.
