Stinky Mandarin Fish 臭鳜鱼

A signature dish made by fermenting mandarin fish, which is then fried and braised in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients:

  • Fermented Mandarin fish: 1 (cleaned)
  • Soy sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Ginger: 3 slices
  • Cooking oil: 2 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Fry fermented mandarin fish until golden on both sides.
  • Add soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and water. Braise for 10 minutes and serve.
