Red Rice Wine Chicken 红糟鸡

A comforting dish made with tender chicken pieces marinated and cooked in red rice wine, a specialty of Fujian.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken: 500g (cut into pieces)
  • Fujian red rice wine: 3 tbsp
  • Ginger: 3 slices
  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Marinate chicken with red rice wine for 30 minutes.
  • Stir-fry with ginger, add soy sauce and water, simmer until tender.

Note: You can also try normal Chinese rice wine if Fujian red rice wine is not available.
