Despite its name, there’s no fish in this dish. Instead, it’s a stir-fry of pork and vegetables in a tangy, sweet, and spicy sauce that mimics the flavour profile of fish dishes.
Ingredients:
- Pork (sliced): 300g
- Carrots (shredded): 100g
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 tsp, minced
- Doubanjiang (Broad Bean Paste): 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Vinegar: 1 tbsp
- Sugar: 1 tsp
- Corn starch: 1 tbsp
Instructions:
- Marinate pork with corn starch and soy sauce.
- Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and doubanjiang.
- Add pork, carrots, and seasonings (vinegar, sugar, soy sauce), stir-fry until cooked.
