Dongpo Braised Pork Belly 东坡肉

Named after the famous poet Su Dongpo, this dish features tender, slow-braised pork belly in a rich, sweet sauce.

Ingredients:

  • Pork belly: 500g
  • Soy sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Shaoxing wine: 3 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Ginger: 3 slices

Instructions:

  • Blanch pork belly, then braise with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and ginger for 1.5 hours.
  • Serve with the rich sauce.
