BBQ Pork - Char Siu 叉烧

A Cantonese staple, char siu is juicy, tender pork marinated in a sweet-savory sauce and roasted to perfection.

Char Siu

Ingredients:

  • Pork shoulder: 500g
  • Char siu sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Honey: 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Marinate pork with char siu sauce, honey, and soy sauce for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Roast at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes, basting with extra sauce halfway through.
