Immerse yourself in the world of Chinese cuisine with the 10-day intensive training programme from CieCAS in Shanghai. The programme is aimed specifically at teachers and educators and provides in-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, regional flavours and cultural contexts.

Part of the training programme takes place at the CieCAS premises in Shanghai, another part in Yantai. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical cooking training - including a cultural framework.

The city is famous for its light, slightly sweet Shanghai cuisine (Hu cuisine), which elegantly combines ingredients such as river fish, soya sauce and rice wine. Numerous markets, cookery schools and restaurants invite you to discover, taste and learn - an ideal environment for anyone who wants to broaden their culinary horizons.

The CieCAS team consists of internationally experienced chefs from Michelin restaurants and renowned cookery schools. The programmes combine sound theory with practical training and strengthen creativity, craftsmanship and cultural understanding.

In addition to training courses, CieCAS also organises workshops, events and culinary encounters for a globally oriented audience.

Yantai is a charming coastal town in Shandong Province and is known for its natural beauty, fresh sea air and culinary specialities from the sea. The region is rich in fish, mussels and seaweed, which play a central role in the local cuisine. Here, participants not only experience a new culinary landscape, but also an authentic insight into life on China's coast.

Yantai offers an ideal complement to Shanghai: quieter, close to nature and deeply rooted in regional food culture. The combination of practical training and cultural exchange makes the stay in Yantai an enriching part of the overall programme.
